Families trust us with the most precious things they have: a voice, a laugh, the stories only one person could tell. No company can promise how long anything will last, so instead we make you a few honest commitments, and we make sure you always have your own copy.
Download everything, anytime
Your album belongs to you. From your album, press “Download my album” to save a zip of every photo, video, and voice recording in standard formats (JPG, PNG, MP4, MP3 and similar), plus a PDF of the stories and answers. Keep a copy on your computer, a USB drive, or wherever feels safe.
A printed keepsake book (coming soon)
We’re preparing an optional printed book of the album, something to hold that doesn’t need a website at all. You can ask to hear when it’s ready below.
Our continuity commitment
You can download your whole album (photos, videos, voice recordings and stories) at any time. If Afterlife Album ever plans to close, we intend to give you reasonable advance notice and time to download everything, and where possible we'll try to arrange a move to another provider.
Encrypted storage, more than one copy
Albums are stored with a hosting provider that encrypts data at rest, and we’re building our backup routine so copies are kept in more than one place. It’s designed to last, and we keep improving it as we grow.
You choose who sees it
Albums stay private until you turn on a share link. Anyone with that link can open the page, and you can turn it off again anytime.
A keepsake, not a will
An album holds stories and voices, not legal instructions. It doesn’t replace a will, and please don’t store passwords here.
We never sell your data
Your stories are never sold, rented, or used for advertising. They’re here for you and the people you choose.
A plan built for the long term
We’re adding a plan option that includes long-term storage paid up front, so an album doesn’t vanish because a monthly payment stopped. Details and pricing are on the way.
Printed keepsake book
